Vietnamese foods are made in a traditional way, using lots of different spices and sauces. Vietnamese people are really dexterous and skillful about using all kinds of different ingredients that Western people would never think of or include in any dishes such as fish sauce – the most common sauce that is included in almost every single dishes in Vietnam; this fish sauce contains a lot of protein and iron.

One of the most delicious and the healthiest Vietnamese dishes is Pho. It is a hot rice noodle soup that not only Vietnamese but also other people from different countries would love to have whenever they come to Vietnamese restaurants. If you haven’t tried it, you should do as soon as you can.

Another healthy dish is Goi Cuon – Vietnamese spring roll. It is made with a thin rice dough (rice paper) that wraps a combination of shrimp, pork or chicken, vegetables (bean sprout, herbs) and noodles.  It is served at a room temperature with Oisin sauce. This is also one of the recommendation appetizers if you ever come to a Vietnamese restaurant.
